Lost runners 3 through 7 to graduation. Ended up with a variety of classmen, evenly divided between all grades. Only a single really fast runner (Ivan Porto) but also a newcomer (Chuck Chillingsworth) who ran a 10:13 on the Lacy Park course, setting the freshman record. Wow! Team placed 7th at CIF Finals with the freshman being the team’s top runner in 24th place. Senior Ivan Porto was 27th. We are looking forward to getting story on that.
