With Mt. SAC under construction, spots for teams were limited and alternative invitationals saw increased participation.  The first annual City of Angels Invitational at the LA Historic Park near downtown drew 20 teams, including the Titans, to run a 2 mile course with views of Chinatown and the skyscrapers of downtown LA.  The Varsity Boys team placed 17th overall, led by Tom Moffat at 11:24 in 71st place.  Bill Li(11:34, 76th) and Alex Powers (11:37, 78th) were the next scorers  In the JV Boys race, Ben Tang was the first finisher for the Titans, at 12:00 (no team score).  The Frosh-Soph Boys placed 11th as a team, with the duo of Jonathan Karkafi (9:54, 23rd place) and Kai Barra (9:55, 27th place) leading the way over what appeared to be a shortened 1.73 mile route.

Juliana Judge was the lone Varsity Girl, running 14:08.  The Frosh-Soph Girls had the top team performance for the Titans, placing 3rd overall.  Lily Tong led the way with a 13:29, good for 9th place, followed by Karen Lee at 13:54 in 20th place.  Complete results are below.
