The Lady Titans had 84 points to place 3rd as a team in the Girls Varsity race at Crescenta Valley Park.  Junior Olivia Ruiz again led the team with a 3rd place finish in a time of 19:38 (PR).  Puja Balaji placed 8th in 20:32.  The other Lady Titan scoring runners were Meg Hannan (22:41, 22nd), Lily Tong (22:56, 23rd), and Katie Wong (24:33, 28th).  In the JV Girls race, the Titans placed 4th as a team and the top finisher was freshman Bella Escobar in 15th place with a time of 24:13 (her time may put her in position for a Varsity slot).

The Varsity Boys placed 5th as a team, with 116 points, matching their Rio Hondo Meet 1 result.  Senior Tom Moffat led the team with a 17:56 (PR) and 12th place finish.  Sean Chen was the next Titan to finish in a time of 18:25 (20th).  The remaining Titan scorers were Joseph Weber (18:53 [PR], 26th), Alex Powers (19:09, 27th) and Josh Rose (19:47, 31st).  It looks like the guys have an uphill battle to qualify for CIF this year.  The JV Boys squad placed 4th as a team, with Bill Li the top Titan finisher in a time of 20:02, good for 12th place.

The Frosh-Soph guys team also placed 4th with 88 points, just behind Temple City’s 87.  The top finisher was freshman Jonathan Karkafi who placed 4th in a solid time of 19:06 (he was the 4th fastest Titan guy on the day, which places him in the mix for a Varsity slot).  Sophomore Kai Barra was next in 19:28 (PR), good for 9th place.
