Things started off well with the Titan men taking the 4x100 relay by a half of a second. But, a little while later, South Pasadena’s Justin Fernandez nipped Chip Crowley in the 400 by a tenth of a second and that pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day. Except for Brandon Chen, who took the 100 by a hundredth of a second. The Titans gave the Tigers a battle in virtually every early race (Olivia & Veronica taking 2nd and 3rd in the 800, just 3 seconds behind the winner) but the team faded in the second half of the meet.
