School Records
1958 to 2016

Coaches Jack Bradford and Phil Ryan maintained detailed records of Track & Field performances, especially in the middle distance and distance events, into the 1990’s. Our information from 2000-2007 was incomplete. We have begun to rely on performances cataloged in Athletic.Net starting in 2008 (these times will typically have and “a” next to them indicating “automatic” event timing -- which is most accurate and generally slower than hand timed events.) A “(w)” next to a result indicates “wind-aided”. We realize that dual meet performances may not be uploaded to Athletic.Net and we are sorry for any oversights. Please advise us if you know of any errors or omissions.

In addition to the school records, we are now presenting outstanding performances throughout the years in the 400, 800, 1600/1500, and 3200/3000. Times from the “yards” era have been converted by Phil Ryan into comparable “meters” results using an approved method. We’ll try to add more events if we can obtain historical results.

	Outstanding Titan Performances (as of June 2016)

	Here we have compiled AVAILABLE historical performances in the 400M, 800M, 1600M/1500M and 3200M/3000M starting in the late 1950’s. The performance cutoffs were chosen to present what are considered outstanding performances relative to San Marino High’s student and athlete population and which have been competitive in the CIF-SS through the years.
