South Pasadena has lots of depth across the board, with athletes populating the current Rio Hondo top-10 performances in many events. Team scores and a link to individual results are below. Olivia Harrigian contributed 15 of San Marino’s 19 points in girls varsity, winning the 1600, 800 and 3200. Keila Barra had her best time of the season in placing 3rd in the 400M. The girls 4 x 400M relay team of Barra, Tran, Ruiz and Wang dropped its season best time by 12 seconds to clock 4:19.09. On the guys side, Chuma Azinge won the varsity 110M Hurdles in a season best 15.71. Azinge also won the Triple Jump in a season best 44’ 2”, which places him near the top of CIF-Southern Section D3 marks for the year -- WOW! Brian Byrne and Quentin Dunkel went 1-2 in the 400M, and they teamed up with Josh Hu and David Xu to win the 4 x 400M relay in a season best 3:41. In Frosh-Soph guys action, the team of Sung, Hornberger, Lin and Yang won the 4 x 100M relay, knocking 3 seconds off the previous season best. Sean Chen won the 1600M in a season best 4:58.18, and Thomas Ary won the 110M hurdles. Wilson Lin, EJ Sung and Kody Yang went 1-2-3 in the 100M dash, and Lin came back to win the 200M as well.
