Several Titans competing at Rio Hondo League Prelims took home League medals in Frosh-Soph field events (the “Prelims” meet features Finals contests in the Frosh-Soph field events). Kobe Oh won the boys’ Frosh-Soph pole vault gold with a season high vault of 10’ 0”. Anson Kwan took bronze in the vault at 9’ 6”. Kyle McCall earned a bronze medal in the boys’ Frosh-Soph long jump with a season best 17’ 8.25” and Jonathan Mak also took home bronze in the boys’ Frosh-Soph triple jump with a 37’ 1.25” leap.
Quite a few Track athletes at the Varsity and Frosh-Soph levels also qualified for the Finals track events which will be held on Friday evening (May 9). Athletes with a “Q” next to their name were automatic qualifiers based on place in heat, and those with a “q” qualified based on their time. See link below.
