Pre-Race Guide
What is Woodbridge? Woodbridge is an elite invitational. Only CIF-caliber teams are invited. Even more than the Bosco Tech Invitational, this is an opportunity to gauge our team against the very best.
Where is it? The course is next to Estancia High School in Costa Mesa. Click here for directions.
What is the course like? “It will be flat, fast, 95% on grass (a little thicker grass than what we had in the park and the Woodbridge campus in the past), very visible (one can see practically the entire race with very little movement) and it will finish inside the beautiful stadium at Estancia (High School).” Click here for a course map.
How Will We Do? The divisions are split up in a way that favor deep teams. The guys run according to graduating class while the girls run closer to the traditional varsity/JV/F/S categories. Our guys will not score well when split as 4 teams but we can use their finish times to measure a theoretical team against our future CIF competition. If our girls run as well as they did at Bosco Tech, they will surprise some elite teams in the varsity race and perhaps the sophomore race.
